Get Involved
“Volunteers don't get paid, not because they're worthless, but because they're priceless.” The Soup Kitchen is always open to new volunteers. We welcome individuals, friends serving together, groups, businesses and school groups. If you cannot come in to serve, there are many things that can be done from home.
VolunteerVolunteer Opportunities
The Soup Kitchen has many different volunteer opportunities. We can accommodate a single volunteer up to groups of 20+. All ages are welcome and we work with individuals, retirees, schools, the court system, colleges, mission groups, groups and clubs, and anyone else interested in helping us improve the lives of so many in this community
Volunteers are needed to help prepare food, sort food, serve meals, organize our pantry, and clean.
VolunteerUnique Volunteer Opportunities
In addition to day to day operations, there are many other unique volunteer opportunities such as shopping for our Just for Kidz Children’s Program, decorating the building, client outreach, building maintenance, and help with fundraisers.

Volunteer Quotes
Love to give back for the blessings I have. The Soup Kitchen is like family - I have been volunteering for 13 years now.
-Sue Ehni
We have been very lucky. Volunteering at the Soup Kitchen is a great way to help people in need. Before working here, we had no idea of the quantity of food that is prepared. Daily. One of our favorite days of the week.
